DRX9000

The DRX9000 is an FDA-cleared, computerized spinal decompression device that delivers precise, controlled traction forces to the spine. Using patented logarithmic decompression technology, it creates a gentle negative intradiscal pressure that encourages herniated or degenerated disc material to retract away from nerve tissue which promotes natural healing without the risks associated with surgery.

Two configurations address the full spectrum of disc-related conditions:

1. DRX9000 – Lumbar: Targets the lumbar spine (L1–S1), decompressing discs responsible for low back pain, sciatica, and leg symptoms. The patient reclines comfortably while the system applies precisely calibrated tension to the affected spinal segment. The machine calibration is unique to each patient accounting for the body type of the patient, as well as the severity of the issue.
2. DRX9000C – Cervical: Designed for the cervical spine (C1–C7), addressing neck pain, disc herniations, and radiating arm or hand symptoms. A specialized cervical head harness delivers the same logarithmic decompression to upper spinal segments.

Each treatment session typically lasts 30–45 minutes. Most protocols involve a series of sessions over several weeks, allowing the spine to progressively heal and stabilize.

Unlike simple mechanical traction that pulls in a linear fashion, the DRX9000's patented logarithmic pull pattern gently oscillates between peak and resting tensions. This cyclical approach creates negative intradiscal pressure, drawing herniated disc material back toward center, increases the diffusion of oxygen, water, and nutrients into the disc to support regeneration, relaxes surrounding musculature and reduces protective spasm, reduces mechanical compression on spinal nerves and nerve roots, promotes long-term disc rehydration and height restoration, and bypasses the body's stretch reflex for more effective, comfortable decompression.

• Lumbar Disc Herniation – Herniated discs in the lower back are among the most common causes of debilitating pain. DRX9000 decompression reduces intradiscal pressure, encouraging retraction of herniated material and relieving nerve compression.
• Cervical Disc Herniation – Herniated cervical discs can produce neck pain, headaches, and radiating symptoms into the shoulders, arms, and hands. The DRX9000C targets these segments with precise decompressive force along with the added benefit of laser therapy to increase the healing to the area through photobiomodulation.
• Degenerative Disc Disease – As discs lose hydration and height over time, the resulting compression can be profoundly painful. DRX9000 therapy helps restore disc hydration and reduce the mechanical load on degenerated segments.
• Sciatica – Compression of the sciatic nerve causes radiating pain, numbness, and tingling down the leg. By decompressing the lumbar discs responsible, the DRX9000 provides relief at the source rather than masking symptoms.
• Spinal Stenosis – Narrowing of the spinal canal compresses neural structures and limits mobility. DRX9000 decompression gently opens space within the canal, reducing nerve impingement and improving function.
• Facet Syndrome – Degenerative changes to the facet joints produce chronic axial pain often worsened by extension. Decompression reduces the compressive load through these joints, offering meaningful symptom relief.
